shu uemura australia, shu uemura products

Haven’t you heard already?  My all-time favourite beauty brand Shu Uemura has recently had a major price drop in Australia – with up to 40% off across half the range!!  Wowee!

As you may remember, I usually stock up on Shu Uemura products when I go to Hong Kong because it works out to be cheaper there.  But now with no plans to head to Asia in the foreseeable future and with the reduced prices, I can just get my Shu Uemura fix in Australia – YAY!

Let’s take a look at the lower prices…

1.  Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil – 150ml was previously from $55 but now from $36

If you haven’t tried cleansing oils yet, now is the perfect time!  BB creams, heavy duty eyeliners, stubborn mascara and pigmented lips stains literally just melt off using Shu Uemura Cleansing Oils.  Not only that but it keeps my skin soft, supple and hydrated as a pre-cleanser.  { Read my full review of Shu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/O Advanced Formula here }

2.  Shu Uemura Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation

My Holy Grail foundation of all time!  It just makes my skin look flawless and glowy!  I love it long time!  And of course, it works amazingly well with their UV Under Base Mousse.  {Read my full review of Shu Uemura Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation here }

This is the bee’s knees!  I have used this iconic product for YEARS and still love it to this day.  It makes my non-existent Asian lashes almost existent!  { See before & after photos and my full review here }

4.  Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine Lipsticks – was previously $42 but now $39

Super lightweight and super shine equates to super lips and super love!  { See photos and swatches of one of my favourite lipstick shades here }

5.  Shu Uemura Face Powder

This finely milled powder creates a beautiful soft matte finish and lasts forever.  Delightful!

my shu uemura stash

This is my small but lovely Shu Uemura stash.  I couldn’t find a few lipsticks and whatnot…must be hiding in some handbag somewhere…and a lot of them are repurchased products.  I have yet to try the Shu eyeshadows and blushes…but I’ll get there 🙂

Anyway, what are you waiting for?  Head to your nearest Shu Uemura counter at David Jones now.  Go forth and shop!  Race you there! 😛

baby bump at 24 weeks

P.S.  Apologies for being 3 weeks late in breaking the news, but when I drafted this post, it was SO VERY CURRENT, but things have been a tad slow in the blogging front recently as I am basically PURE EXHAUSTED lugging around 10kg of extra weight from the baby bump and working full-time and doing extra Saturday shifts!!  I look like a giant ball!  Anyway, I shan’t complain because I am so very happy…and it’s even more fun now because I can see my tummy flick up when the baby kicks or punches.  It is SO COOL!!!  It’s like having my own wee alien in my belly!

*Some of the Shu Uemura products  in the photos were provided for editorial consideration (thanks again Shu!) but 95% of my Shu stash was bought with my hard earned cash 🙂

  1. That’s so exciting! I’ll definitely stop by my local and get the eyelash curler and maybe a small cleansing oil too. 🙂 Thanks for the heads up!

  2. Thank you so much for the details!!! Ive been really want to try the eyelash curler, i might pop into my local store and grab one 😛

  3. oh wow that’s a huge price drop and i can’t believe the price inflation of these products for their original price!

    • @jenn f, Unfortunately yes. Australia sells beauty products at crazy over inflated prices 🙁 but now, we are slowly but surely getting better with comparable prices 🙂

  4. it’s good news that it finally drop price, but i find it odd that it didn’t drop price when aussie dollar was high and finally drop the price when aussie dollar is falling. but still, it’s good news. eyeing on the eye lash curler.

  5. Omg, the cleansing oil is the biggest killer! I absolutely love it, but never dared paying $110 for it here. I always look for cheaper options online. It’s good to here they’re dropping their prices though, but is it for everywhere? I know this was announced for YSL at David Jones but they’re prices are still the same here in Brisbane 🙁
