BIODERMA Créaline H2O Is A Miracle Water!

BIODERMA Crealine H2O Make-Up Remover, Australia, review, water

If you’re looking for an oil-free gentle make-up remover, allow me to point you in the direction of this fantastique French product - BIODERMA Créaline H2O.  I first read about this miracle water on beauty blogs where it got amazing reviews and just when I was about to ask my sister to bring over a bottle from UK, I was contacted by the Bioderma PR in Australia.  And that, my friends, is how I landed my first bottle of BIODERMA Créaline H2O.

Product Description

At the cutting edge of innovation, BIODERMA has pioneered micellar solutions. Specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skins, the Créaline H2O micelle solution gently cleanses face and eyes.  It removes water-resistant make-up.  The micelles contained in its formula effectively micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin’s balance (soap-free, physiological pH).

My Opinions

I love it!  It is unlike any other make-up remover I have ever tried.  BIODERMA Créaline H2O is naturally clear, does not smell, is not oily and so so so gentle yet highly effective at removing make-up.  It does not sting my eyes and does not irritate my skin whatsoever.  It removes the most stubborn BB creams (yup, even the Missha BB Cream which is truly thick and balmy) and stubborn mascara without pulling off lashes.  Woop woop!!

It’s okay if you don’t believe me because you can try and buy it yourself.  Word on the street is that it’s available in selected pharmacists around Australia so keep your eyes peeled.  In Melbourne, there are stockists in Carlton, Collingwood, Richmond, Parkville, South Yarra, North Brighton – but best to email contact@cosmetifrance.com for more details :)

BIODERMA Créaline H2O Has A Copycat!

While I was in Hong Kong last month, I visited BIODERMA Concept Stores (in Mong Kok and Sha Tin) and I was highly tempted to buy more of their products because they have cleansers, toners, moisturisers, whitening products, sunscreens…BUT…their SA’s (that’s Sales Assistants) harassed me before I even entered the store!  It’s a Hong Kong thing…the same happened when I was in the Jill Stuart stores…so I hurried away empty-handed…*sad face*

BIODERMA Crealine H2O

However, in my local Colormix (it’s like a Sasa) I had a double-take when I saw a BIODERMA Créaline H2O doppelganger - INSETA [World Spirit] H2O.  From memory, a 500ml bottle of BIODERMA cost $109 HKD and INSETA cost $99 HKD.  Naturally, I had to buy it to see if there was any difference.

I can’t find much on the Internet about INSETA but it’s made in Italy.  The ingredients of both are very similar.  I have no idea who copied who.

INSETA is also a gentle yet effective make-up remover…BUT I much prefer BIODERMA Créaline H2O because it is not scented.  INSETA has this soapy smell which doesn’t appeal to me.  BIODERMA Créaline H2O is definitely on my repurchase list!

What make-up remover are you currently using?  Have you tried BIODERMA Créaline H2O before?

Yay, does this mean there’s an Aussie stockist? Do you know the Aussie RRP?
Rae Morris recommends this! And I’ve been looking at purchasing it online but the postage costs hurt :(

Well not to rub it in but it’s readily available in Canada. I’ve tried and love it. Although I have to say there are quite a few companies now making micellar water and they are said to be pretty similar. I am using the one from Vichy right now and it’s lovely as well.

@TracyD, Ack! Australia are SO behind! We aren’t even getting Revlon Lip Butters till…wait for it…April!!!
