Hi peeps, I’m still alive. Less stressed than last week, but unfortunately still stressed so bear with me until I can get back to a regular blogging schedule. Thanks

In my early twenties, I flirted a lot with a wide range of beauty brands and Elizabeth Arden was one of them. Back then, all the magazines raved about their Eight Hour Cream and I bought it…and it was okay…but not spectacular. Instead, my skin loved their Visible Difference range. Fast forward a couple of years and I started to think that Elizabeth Arden was WAY too mature for me. I still continued to love their Green Tea EDT though
Anyway, I am now in my early thirties and Elizabeth Arden has caught up with me again with their Prevage range and now, their make-up in the form of Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Sponge-On Cream Makeup.

Hi Best Beauties, I’m off to Canberra today for the long Easter weekend. I’m hoping to have lots of fun exploring this city… I know lots of people were like “Um, Canberra? Uh, WHY??!!” And I say, “Why not? We haven’t been before and I want to learn more about Australia now that I am a permanent resident here!” :) Anyway, I have drafted a few quickie posts over the weekend so have fun reading them
More importantly, follow me on Twitter or Instagram to get up-to-date #CanberraGoss
Anyway, onto today’s post…
Many, many, many moons ago, I was OBSESSED with mascaras….until I realised that mascaras can only do so much for my short stubby Asian lashes! A few months ago, Natio kindly sent me a care package and one of the goodies was Natio Lash Definition Mascara. I’ve been using it on and off for a while now so I thought it was time to give it a review…

A few weeks ago, ELES sent me the featured products for their Barefaced Beauty Autumn Look for 2013. I like a good challenge so I went about recreating the look. Please forgive my cheesy non-modelesque pose…I ended up doing the Gangnam Style finalé chin pose but let’s pretend I am procrastinating or stroking my beard or something

Another day, another BB cream. Yes, I know there’s a new alphabet cream in town going by CC, but blame it on these words – “Japan Exclusive”. Yes, as soon as I read that, I whipped out my Hong Kong dorrahs ($99 to be precise) for the Maybelline Pure BB Mineral BB Watergel. You see, I am under the impression that everything from Japan is AMAZING – e.g. ramen noodles, sushi, sashimi – oh wait, that’s just food. Okay, um, my fave beauty gadget Hitachi Hada Crie and I also like Liese Bubble Hair Color Dyes. So I assumed that I would love this BB Watergel… (but be warned, you should never assume because you make an ASS of out of U and ME)

Do you remember me telling you that I attended the Benefit Fake Up event a few weeks ago? Well, I was blessed with one of these babies in the goody bag. *squee* Like all Benefit cosmetics, Fake Up has adorable packaging and design which cannot be faulted except that this isn’t fingerprint-proof. Anyway, it is different to all the other concealers I have in my stash…
First up, can you believe it’s the only concealer stick I own?!! I am extremely wary of concealer sticks because back in my young days (many, MANY moons ago), the formulas of them were atrocious and they did the adjective “cakey” a lot of justice! But Benefit’s Fake Up Concealer is nowhere near cakey – in fact, it’s the total opposite!!!
