Hi ladies, you may remember that I told you I am a top 5 Clinique It Girl Finalist. Well, today is the last day to get people’s votes in so please, please, please head to Clinique Australia Facebook Page {link here & only accessible via PC / laptop} and help vote for me. Even if you have voted for me before, you can vote again…and again! Yes, you can vote as many times as you want! O_O Voting ends at 5pm on 13/3/13!!! YIKES!!!
If you were wondering how I managed to get into the top 5, we had to get into the top 10 first, which required a written review (of under 200 words) and photos of any Clinique product of choice. Unfortunately, I didn’t read about the Clinique It Girl competition until 2 days before the deadline so I was totally not prepared! Luckily, I did a quick browse through my unedited blog photos and found the photos of Clinique Curvy Candy Chubby Stick – and can you remember I split my head open a few months ago whilst taking blog photos? Yes! It was whilst I was taking photos of Clinique Curvy Candy Chubby Stick!!! LOL! Anyway, here’s the review I wrote…
The question on every lippy lover’s lips is – Is L’Oreal Shine Caresse a YSL Glossy Stain dupe?
The products in this Dupe Report are YSL Glossy Stain #25 and L’Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Eve. Please note that I did not deliberately purchase these shades to match each other so there may be closer shade matches out there. I bought YSL #25 without swatching but with beauty blogger recommendations – the best enablers!
Without further ado, let’s get on with this Dupe Report…
L’Oreal Shine Caresse – Stains / Wet Stains / Wet Shine Stains / Glossy Stains / Lipglosses / *insert name* – yes, for some bizarre reason, there isn’t a universal name for the hotly anticipated new lip products from L’Oreal Paris. And from the swatches I have seen on beauty blogs, there appears to be different shade names from US, Asia (I bought mine in Hong Kong), Europe – and gawd knows how long they will take to be launched here in Australia?? (I am going to a L’Oreal blogging event next week so I will ask and get back to you!)
Apologies for the lack of blog posts this week and I will get the photos and swatches of L’Oreal Caresse Shine glosses up by the end of this week – but I have been busy working on a new design for the blog. Let me know what you think of the colour scheme. And I have also been using up my creative juices for *something potentially special* – will let you know if it develops into *something special*.
If you’re wondering about the lippy shade I am wearing – it is Juicy Red Lips in this video – basically Rimmel London’s Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick #10 plus Natio Rich Colour Creme Gloss in Alive.
Anyway, regardless of whether you’re single / attached / in a complicated relationship, I hope you have a LOVELY day whatever you get up to this Valentine’s Day. I have already got my Husband’s V-Day pressie sorted – I am going to SMS him with a picture of me in sexy lingerie with cleavage out and in a slutty “Come hither” pose…right about..now! Sexting – it’s fun! LOL!
2. My teeth look extra white with blue-based red lippies.
3. It can distract and hide a multitude of sins (I am referring to my eyebags btw!)
4. I get more compliments from wearing red lipsticks than any other shades I own.
5. I can match the colour of my lips to my clothes, handbag, nail polish and shoes (which I did last week!!) – and not care what people think because I am deluded into thinking that I am super-sexy! (refer to point 1.)
“Look, it’s that crazy lady in red from head to toe again!” LOL!
If you click through, you can see all the other shortlisted entries. If you like my video, please take a moment to sign up to beautyheaven and vote for me, Lip Stalker. Alternatively, if you like someone else’s video, please vote for them.
