FACE OF AUSTRALIA, possibly my favourite Australian drugstore brand, have come up with another gorgeous, limited edition nail polish collection of pretty Pastels. { previous collections include Luxe, Molten Metallics and Barbados } Pastel shades are PERFECT to welcome in the Spring / Summer seasons in the Southern Hemisphere. I have been dying to swatch them to show you all the 8 stunning shades so here I go. Get your bibs out and get ready to drool!
Inspired by the infamous 50 Shades Of Grey novel, I did not get kinky (my Husband can only dream!) thought it would be a great idea to showcase 50 shades of grey of make-up!
You can watch the video to see all 50 shades of grey of make-up in action.
It’s not every day that I…well, not me exactly, but my blog – The Best Beauty Blogverified by no-one gets a 1 in 5 chance to have a limited edition Revlon Nail Enamel trio set produced and sold at a leading Revlon stockist, so when I got asked to see if I would participate in the Revlon Inspires campaign, I said, “Yes please!” even though I get no profits nor monetary compensation whatsoever at any stage of this campaign.
I received 12 Revlon nail polishes and I was asked to select 3 of my favourites to go into what could possibly be - Revlon Inspires The Best Beauty Blog Nail Enamel Trio Set. How amazing would that be, huh? It was quite a difficult process because all the nail polishes were screaming “Pick me!” but eventually, I did it. Without further ado, let me reveal the 3 shades I chose…
Revlon Inspires The Best Beauty Blog Nail Enamel Trio Set consists of :-
640 Fearless
560 Zealous
571 Posh
As you can they are big bold colours perfect for the forthcoming Spring / Summer seasons. Let’s take a closer look at these gorgeous shades in all its glory.
Revlon Fearless
Fearless is a vibrant warm coral red creme which is suitable for all skin tones.
Revlon Zealous
Zealous is a lemony shade with hints of lime and a very subtle gold microshimmer. Note : Applies sheer so needs a good 3 coats.
Revlon Posh
Posh is a vivid green creme which screams sophistication. It appealed to me lots because I have nothing remotely close to this colour in my vast nail polish collection.
Funnily enough, the names of them are NOTHING like me! I am not Fearless because I am scared of EVERYTHING from all types of animals to swimming pools! A sack of potatoes is more Zealous than me! As for Posh, pfft, are you kidding me? I come from Glasgow, the city with the highest murder rate in Europe!
But hey, I can fake it till I make it by wearing these nail polishes, right?
Let me know how the shades I have chosen inspire you. What does it remind you of? Food? Coloured jeans? Angry Birds?
If you made it here, thanks for reading! Did you like the colours I chose? Every time I see a traffic light, it reminds me of these nail polishes!! LOL.
It has been crazy hectic at The Best Beauty Blog HQ this week. Hence I am currently writing this at my day job’s computer…and I have just dug something up from the unpublished archives…and all I could find were nail polish swatches!! Forgive me!!! But look, it’s a nail polish from Revlon… and I predict you will be seeing more Revlon nail polishes in the future… *wink* Anyway, without further ado…I give you a post I wrote beauty blog centuries ago…back when I was just a baby beauty blogger

A short and sweet post for today (read : filler post alert!!) Revlon was having a 15% off discount at my local drugstore so I picked up a nail polish – Revlon Plum Attraction. Hello? A girl can never have too many nail polishes!
Revlon Plum Attraction is a beautiful rich royal purple which only needs two coats to provide opacity.

I actually did this Peter Pan collar nail art back in April when they were the “in” thing. Now, they aren’t so “in” anymore and I feel more comfortable posting up this pic because I wasn’t too happy with the results. Yes, there were many faults with my mani and don’t even look at my cuticles. But this month, I’m all about positive thinking so when I look at the photo of my Glitzy Peter Pan Collar nails, I just think, “Yay, at least I tried!” rather than, “That’s NOT Nail Art! That’s Nail FART!”
What do you think of my nail art? Are you a fan of Peter Pan collars?
Apologies to my Australian readers for posting so late at night. But I am just about to go to Snooze-land when I thought I’d show off my pretty nail polish - e.l.f. Nail Polish in Rosy Raisin.
e.l.f. Rosy Raisin is a maroon plum creme. I love how it complements my yellow skin tone perfectly. It’s a great shade for Autumn / Winter.
e.l.f. Nail Polish in Rosy Raisin is the first e.l.f. nail polish I have tried. I really love the glossy streak-free formula. And hey, it was only £2.50 so cheap as chips. I bought this AGES ago on the e.l.f. UK website and got my sister to bring it over to Australia. I haven’t seen e.l.f. in Aussie shops though which is a bummer because I would definitely buy more of their goodies.
Do you like this colour? Have you tried e.l.f. Nail Polish yet? Anyway, I bid you all goodnight! I have scheduled an early morning post tomorrow and it’s all about my awesome hair. Yes, I had an awesome hair day!! Unbelievable but true!
Monday-itis! Monday-itis! Monday…oh hai there! Mucho apologies for this quick filler post but I have had a crazy weekend full of ups and downs. I’ll fill you in all the goss later…maybe…but meanwhile, feast your eyes upon some pretty nail polish from Priti NYC Polish. My puns are absolutely amazing, aren’t they?!
Featuring the Priti NYC Polish with a base of the 2 in 1 Base & Top Coat followed by 2 coats of Dark Warrior Orchid, a muddy green creme.
Grammar Police Alert : The last sentence isn’t even a proper sentence!
Ignore my nonsensical non-grammatical words and just enjoy the pictures of the beautifully glossy nails with a dark green shade perfect for the Winter season we are experiencing in Melbourne. And how totally awesome is the shade name – Dark Warrior Orchid.
Please note that these nail polishes are press samples.
I promise not to have Tuesday-itis tomorrow. Let me know what you think of this dark green glossy shade.
