Keep your eyes open because in approximately 10 days time, Prestige Cosmetics debut their newest Total Intensity High Impact Eyeshadow collection. I was lucky enough to get sent the press pack. Thank you Prestige Cosmetics!!!
The Total Intensity Eyeshadow collection consists of long-lasting, creamy-pigmented powders that use duo-chrome pigment, an advanced colour technology that creates a unique multi-dimensional look ranging from multi-colour to bold. It’s smudge and crease proof and can be used wet or dry to intensify the colour.
There are 8 shades to choose from and after swatching them on my arm, I could definitely see why Prestige named them “Total Intensity” because they are fantastically pigmented and so rich in colour.
01 Spellbound – shimmery pink-beige
02 Crave – shimmery gold
03 Bewitched – shimmery taupe
04 Hocus Pocus – rich aubergine with green
05 Addiction – dark violet
06 Obsession – royal blue
07 Hypnotized – teal
08 Black Magic – black with silver glitter
Unfortunately, due to the duo-chrome nature, it was hard to capture this on camera, especially with my amateur skills. So these swatches and colour descriptions are not 100% reliable – shame on me! – so it’s best to visit your nearest Prestige cosmetics shelves and try the testers there.
The shades 01 to 03 are easily dupe-able if you have any of the Urban Decay Naked palettes, but the colours from 04 to 08 impress me loads and I think I’ll have lots of fun playing with bold eye looks.
I also have to add that I LOVE the packaging!!! The cases are sturdy and the lids can be opened so far back that it can prop up the eyeshadow. Major props for that!
