Coralicious Make-Up

First of all, I just want to say another big THANK YOU to everyone who left me lovely messages after hearing of our awesome news in my last post!!!  I can’t stop smiling!  And to top it off…does anyone remember I had that work-related stress issue?  Well, I got good news yesterday and that has been resolved too!  *pops open non-alcoholic champagne*

Anyway, a few weeks ago I was feeling bit under the weather with so many stressful things on my mind…so what better way to brighten up my day than take photos of pretty make-up with pretty colours?!  So I gathered a number of coral coloured goodies and went all paparazzi on them – very CORAL-ICIOUS!!!

Sinful Colors nail polish Australia

Coral-icious nails!  Sinful Colors* has landed in Australia!!  From left to right, we have Boogie Nights, Feeling Great and Soul Mate.  They are 3-Free (i.e. no Toluene, no Formaldehyde, no DBP) which means they should be (?) pregnancy-safe and they are definitely candidates for my toe nail polish when I’m due to give birth in December.  Yes, it is important for my toe nails to look good when there will be medical staff hovering in that region when the time comes.  And yes, I have thought that far ahead!  Just call me Mum-zilla!

As for painting the nails on my hand…I’m contemplating whether I should or not…I might chow down my nails during labour! 😛  But at least I am trying to keep my hands nicely moisturised these days!  The hand cream pictured is Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater Hand Therapy – mini-sized version freebie from a magazine.

Benefit Cha Cha Tint

Coral-icious Accessories!  Ooops!  Totally cut of the accessories in this photo but see the first photo for reference.  There’s those bright pink sunnies from Rubi Shoes, Milly Pink Gold Cuff that I won as a Clinique It Girl (it’s pretty and all…but it weighs a ton…and I can’t figure out what to wear it with!) and big heart-shaped lollipop.

Benefit Cha Cha Tint is a mango-tinted lip and cheek stain…I’ve had this for yonks…but I can’t bear to open it because it is so pretty.  How weird am I?

Illamasqua Powder Blush in Excite

This is Illamasqua Powder Blush in Excite.  I won this from a blog giveaway AGES ago…and another unused blush!!!  I think I am turning into a blush hoarder!!!!

Revlon Photoready Skinlights

And oooh, Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator in Pink Light*!!!  You must try this because it gives face a lovely radiant glow.  I like to mix a tiny squizz in foundation for that extra subtle oomph for glowy skin!

Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Runway Coral

Coral-icious lips!  Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Runway Coral is a must-have for all coral lipstick lovers…and I ain’t just saying that because I am a Clinique It Girl 😉

Do you have any more coral-icious beauty products to recommend?  I hope you got some coral-icious make-up inspiration!  I know that I’m going to endure this cold Winter in Melbourne in bright in-your-face colours!  YEAH!!!!

I feel like dipping my fingers into that lovely blusher … LOL but that would be cruel.

I love coral! I have a Illamasqua lipstick in a coral-ish colour that I love so much, I’m so glad it suits me 😀

YES, you are odd for not dipping your fingers into things hehe. I reckon you can admire it untouched for a bit but then you really must start using it before it goes off. 🙂

I love me a good coral product! Although, strangely, I have Cha Cha too, which I have rarely used! Runway Coral is such a pretty shade, how sad that it’s limited edition!

@The Made Up Maiden, I hate it when makeup goes off 🙁 And I really should crack open things and just use it….because YOLO!!!!!

LOL, Ling, I had a perfect manicure (dark red and glittery) and toes (red-black), especially for my labour. It did turn out to be a bit difficult but you can choose whether or not you want to read about my experience or not (maybe you might want to wait til afterwards, but I found reading about other women’s birth stories to be helpful.) But, staying on topic; yep, do your nails for sure! Coral doesn’t suit me but Sinful Colours is a steal and has some gorgeous wintery shades.

@rabbitwithfangs, OOooooh, I will definitely read about your birth experience…but maybe after…unless it was a positive one?? All the birth stories are so scary….I am crossing my legs thinking of the pain!!!!!!

Try not to worry too much…maybe read my story (it’s in the link above that says ‘His Mother wears combat boots.) Difficult, – very difficult – but has a happy ending. So if you read it let me know what you think!
