ellie make up

Ellie Make Up isn’t a brand that I’ve heard of before so when I got a press release from them, I was intrigued and requested to trial a few pieces of their make up.

I also thought it would be a great idea to review them in a Yeah or Meh? format, so here I go…

ellie brush on brow palette

Ellie Brush On Brow Palette ( RRP $34 )

I’m starting with this because I had high hopes for this product seeing as thick brows are so on trend thanks to the likes of Cara Delevingne.  Unfortunately, I rated this Meh because the little brush was scratchy and the brow powder was somewhat chalky and didn’t deliver.  $34 is also pricey when I can get this amazing brow kit for less than $10.

ellie luxe lisse creme

Ellie Luxe Lisse Creme ( RRP $34 )

This gorgeous lipstick shade – a vibrant orange red – aptly named Foxy applied fantastically on my lips and stayed put.  This gets a Yeah from me although it is erring on the expensive side for a lippy.

Ellie Trio Teinte Allure Creme ( RRP $36 )

According to Ellie, this has 3 uses – for cheeks, lips and eye colour…  I am not too sure about using it on my eyelids…  However, I loved this on my cheeks for that pink rosy glow so that’s a Yeah from me.

Have you tried Ellie Make Up before?  Do you also love Cara Delevingne’s brows?

P.S. It’s been awful lately reading and watching the news about worldly events like the Nepal earthquake and Bali executions. But it has been a great reminder to me that I am truly blessed to go to bed with a roof over my head and food in my belly. Wishing you and your loved ones a lovely weekend ahead.  xxx

    • Hello thanks for your review of our luxe makeup brand! We value your opinion and will take into consideration your comments. FYI our brush on brow palettes have been rated by our users as one of the easiest to apply and perfect texture for brows, as well as Women’s Health and Body and Soul in the Herald Sun. We also have a long brow brush that can be used with the brow palette, which has a softer brush. All the best and thank you for your excellent feedback 🙂
