How To : Gold & Blue Half-Moon Manicure
Everyone and their mother knows how to do a half-moon manicure. It’s so last year darling! But I’m a late starter to most things in life. I was the last girl in my class to wear my first bra (damn my flat pancake Chinese bosom genes!) but that’s another story…
For my half-moon manicure, I randomly chose the colours gold and blue – courtesy of FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Gold and China Glaze First Mate.
1. Paint nails in base colour of gold.
2. Wait until nails are completely dry and then stick on some ring reinforcement stickers to form the half-moon shape.
3. Paint the non-half-moon part blue.
4. Wait till the nails are dry and then peel back slowly to reveal your very own half-moon manicure!
Cue werewolf howl - “Owwwwwwwwwww!”
(Okay, my half-moon mani isn’t purrr-fect but it’s not bad for a first-timer eh?!)
Do you like half-moon manicures? What other colour combo would be good for this? Tweet or FB me a picture if you DIY too. I’d love to see! (My Twitter and FB) And happy Saturday! Taking a Sunday break tomorrow so I will catch you all on Monday *wink plus smiley face*

Where did you get the ring reinforcement stickers? Haven’t seen them before!
