bhave smoothe, bhave smoothe keratin treatment, bhave smooth, bhave smooth plus,

Some people (i.e. non-Asians) assume that ALL Asians have long thick straight shiny black hair.  IT IS SOOOO NOT TRUE!

Exhibit A – ME!

Me with the hair which has a mind of its own.  Me with the hair which is dry and unruly.  Me with the hair nemesis, HUMIDITY.  Me with the pubic-like frizzy hair.  Come on ladies, you know what I mean!!!

If you’re like me and you’re fed up of straightening your hair every day just to beat the frizzies, allow me to point you in the direction of bhave smoothe keratin therapy.

In a nutshell, this is my experience of bhave smoothe keratin therapy :-

1.  Hair was washed then dried.
2.  Treatment was applied and left for under an hour.
3.  Hair was washed then dried again.
4.  Hair was straightened in sections.  Done!

bhave smoothe, bhave smoothe keratin treatment, bhave smooth, bhave smooth plus,

The photos do not lie.  I arrived at the salon with frizzy poofy hair and I left the hair salon with shiny, glossy, frizz-free locks.  Just wow!

If you need more convincing to get this done, it’s formaldehyde-free and Aussie beauty guru, Zoe Foster-Blake got it done just before she popped her sprog!

The downside is that it does not last forever… (apparently, it can last up to 5 months)…

To ensure that bhave smoothe keratin therapy lasts as long as possible, there are 4 things you are instructed to do :-

1.  Avoid washing your hair for 48 hours post-treatment
2.  Use sulphate-free and sodium chloride-free shampoo and conditioner (bhave have a great range – which you have a chance of winning at the end so stay tuned!)
3.  Activate it with heat (i.e. use a hairdryer after washing) to get straighter results
4.  Eat chocolate…!  *winks*

bunty and me

I was extremely delighted with the results of bhave smoothe because I did not have to stress out about my hair going nutso during the wildly humid summer days.  I’ve been using bhave Scalp and Rescue shampoos and conditioners to keep my hair happy.

It’s been over 2 months since I had it done and my hair is still reaping the benefits…but my pubic hair roots are starting to come through *sob sob*

The above is a photo of me and Bunty from 2 weekends ago when we attended a wedding.  It looks like she has inherited my crazy poofy hair and it needs to be tamed with bhave smoothe, haha!

The hair looks amazeballs Ling! I have the exact same hair type except more wavy and untameable. Maybe too much volume and a crap load of damage? I’m rather envious of other girls with perfectly sleek hair 🙁

Love how sleek this makes your hair, I need this so bad! Mister’s new best mate from work has a fiancé and her hair is like this all the time and it makes me so jealous. How much is it to get your hair done in the salon with this?

I’ve been thinking about getting the treatment done for quite some time – am off to the US for 5 weeks shortly so I think it might be the perfect time to do it. Who wants to spend their holidays worrying about their hair all the time?!

It’s over 40 years and I’ve always had long hair. I took the plunge last week and had it all cut off. Very short – but now I’ve discovered curls which I now need to tame. This prize would be wonderful to experiment with.

Wow, do you feel a lot lighter without your hair? I cut mine into a bob last year and now I’m trying to make it grow faster

I had this treatment done last June. Was such a difference to my hair and even though the treatment has worn off, I’ve still noticed my hair is healthier. The bhave products are so lovely to use, but unfortunately I’ve had to stop buying them as we save for our wedding! 🙁 Whoever wins will love these! (the deep intense home treatment is my fave!)
