Emma Stone pink lips, Emma Stone Revlon, Revlon Pink Hope, #brightpinklipstickday

Hi ladies, if you didn’t know already, today is Bright Pink Lipstick Day!

Bright Pink Lipstick Day is a fun and fabulous way of raising awareness of breast and ovarian cancer.  The official lipstick is the Limited Edition Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Hope – but it’s fine to just wear any pink lipstick (or lip gloss) that makes your pout pop!

Additionally, you can also directly donate to Pink Hope – Australia’s only charity designed to inspire women to be proactive and vigilant with their breast and ovarian health, while providing a safe haven for high risk women to connect.  { DONATE HERE }

Please show your support by puckering up with your pink pout.  One simple photo can give a virtual hug to hundreds of women living through this experience, helping to raise awareness and funds for Pink Hope.  Don’t forget to add the all-important hashtag to your pink pout-tastic selfies – #brightpinklipstickday

Here’s my Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Pink Hope pout in action…

Revlon Pink Hope, Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick swatch

Pink Hope is a watermelon bright pink shade which I love, love, love!  The Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick formula is beautiful too and just glides on straight from the bullet and feels very moisturising.  In the extreme close-up pic of my lips, I actually have a few dry patches which is masked very well and I didn’t prime it beforehand with lip balm.  Can’t comment on the lasting power as I only got the lippy last night…  FYI, I have a magnifying mirror next to my iMac and I can’t stop checking out my pout whilst writing this post because the colour is so strikingly HAWT! 😛

Other bright pink lipsticks which I love include : NYX Round Lipstick in Fire (budget), Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart (mid-range) YSL Rouge Pur Couture Golden Lustre Fuchsia Symbole (luxe)

Happy #brightpinklipstickday!  Happy Friday!  Happy weekend!  *mwah*

P.S.  This is a non-sponsored post.  Revlon kindly surprised me with the lipstick last night and I am delighted to be able to show my support through my blog and I will be making a donation to Pink Hope.  My Auntie died of breast cancer exactly 5 years and 7 days ago so when I rock my pink lippy today, I will be thinking of her.  Don’t forget to give your breasts a monthly check to look out for any changes.  I had a breast lump which I had surgically removed in 2008…thankfully, it was nothing sinister…but it took me over 3 months to recover from the operation due to recurrent wound infection.  It was a NIGHTMARE!  But that’s another story for another day…
