Ling’s Linky Party #3 : Sausage Loop Pigtails
Welcome to “Ling’s Linky Party” – a new category on The Best Beauty Blog. Every Friday, I will post a new “Ling’s Linky Party” theme and if you choose to join in the fun, you can head off to create your own blog post on the same theme. When you’re done, simply add your link at the end of this post with the linky tool and we can all have a cool linky party and check out each other’s blogs. There is one whole month to join in the linky party so there’s no need to rush! Please remember to link love me back in your blog post. Thanks!
Pigtails are not just for schoolgirls! Here’s my creation with its rather unflattering name of Sausage Loop Pigtails. It’s fun and flirty and makes me feel like a young spring chicken! *giggles like a Bieber-fevered schoolgirl*
I actually got my hair cut and coloured AFTER I took photos for this look so I will be unveiling my new hair next week so stay tuned!
Anyway, back onto the Sausage Loop Pigtails, it’s really easy to recreate this look…
How To : Sausage Loop Pigtails
1. Part your hair in two.
2. Tie your hair – use as many hair ties as you need for the length of your hair.
3. Puff them out by teasing the sectioned hair between each hair tie.
4. At the top of the pigtail, part it to form a loop.
5. Lift the end of the pigtail up and in towards the loop and pull it down. Done!
Of course, you can add pretty clips or cute flowers or colourful ribbons to jazz it up. Do you like it??
Ling’s Linky Party : Here’s your chance to participate and show us your hair in Sausage Loop Pigtails.
If you have a blog, do a blog post and link back using the cool linky tool below.
If you don’t have a blog but want to show us your take on the Sausage Loop Pigtails, upload a photo onto The Best Beauty Blog Facebook Page.

09/09/2011 at 7:29 pm (619 days ago)I quite like them. I do them often but the only thing that bugs me about them is the fact that it makes the pigtail real stiff and it’s like you have two sticks on your head.

@Celeste @ Becoming Beautiful, Oh that is true – they can get pretty stiff – like weapons haha

10/09/2011 at 11:06 pm (617 days ago)One whole month, eh? I may overcome my laziness and actually contribute to this linky list
. I always wear piggy tails at home, never out because I feel a little silly! If I’m gonna do any sort of tied style, its always a side pony… *yawn*
