Can you remember what you were doing on Tuesday evening?  Do you think you’ll remember what you were doing on Tuesday evening in 5 years time??  Well, I am 99.9% sure that I will always remember what I was doing on the evening of Tuesday 17th of January 2012!  My hubby and I had the pleasure of attending the Australian Open thanks to one of their sponsors, Dove.  (Pictured with me is the beautiful Laura, the Dove PR)

And to me, it was a BIG deal because I’ve always watched tennis (Wimbledon, might I add) on TV so this was my first live tennis match at the Aussie Open (There’s no grass!!  It’s blue courts!!) and I was seated in the second row at the Rod Laver Arena!!!  I got to watch these famous tennis stars – Lleyton Hewitt and Serena Williams – wiggle their bums and play tennis.  I got to listen and giggle at their tennis grunts!  Very memorable indeed!

When I heard that it was the first time Dove has sponsored the Australian Open, I was delighted for them.  I have always been a big fan of Dove and have previously blogged about their hand cream, make-up remover and body wash – and I have used their hand wash, deodorant and hair products too.

If you’re heading down to watch a bit of tennis yourself at the Aussie Open, be sure to check out Dove’s ‘Discover the Beautiful Truth’ Marquee where you will be able to experience Dove products and collect samples too.

Other #MBBE beauty bloggers – Tina, Val and Tine – attended this evening session too.  We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!  Thanks so much Dove!!!

For the next few days, my eyeballs will be glued to the TV to see who wins Australian Open 2012.  For the men, I’m thinking Roger Federer and for the women, Serena Williams.

So are you an Aussie Open fan too?  And what are your favourite Dove products?

So jealous…looks like you had an amazing time! I think I entered everyone’s contests for the chance to go, but alas….I didn’t win any!

What a great opportunity, to watch a match live! I don’t play any sport that is ball-related becoz I have no ball sense. Ball comes = RUN AWAY!!!
