looking back at 2014

Oh hello 2015!  We’re nearly at the end of February and I still cannot believe that 2014 is over.  Where did time go?  What an awesome-ish year!

Well, if you’ve been a loyal reader, you’ll know that I set up a few goals for myself for last year so it’s only right that I let you know whether I accomplished them or not.

Okay, here I go…

1. I’m embarking on a Project 100 Pan.

Oh yes, I did this (with a bit of cheating, but shhh, don’t tell anyone!!).  In fact, I am staring at over 100 used / half-empty / expired products inside a massive box.  Contemplating whether I should blog about these empties or just chuck them all out… whaddya think?

2.  This year, I will learn to love myself more.

So…I totally sucked at this because I ended up loving my baby girl Bunty THE MOST!  But she’s part of me so that definitely counts, right?

3.  Grow me some balls!

These balls are growing, I tell ya!  But they are still baby balls.  Better to have baby balls than to have shrivelled up balls!  Am I right or am I right? 😛

4. Consolidate, consolidate, consolidate!

I bought less useless junk and chucked out loads of useless junk for myself…but that’s mainly because I have started buying baby junk for Bunty, haha!  No, but seriously, my hoarding days are over and I am determined to live a simple, decluttered life….one day!

5. Take lots more photos and improve my photography skills.

Yes!!!  Manual mode FTW!!!  What a difference it makes to shoot in Manual mode!  I am still a photographer newbie but I’m going to regurgitate all that I’ve learned and share more photography tips on my lifestyle blog like this popular flatlay photography post.

6.  Laugh more!

LOL!  Done!

7.  Embrace motherhood.

Oh yes and I don’t even care if I get labelled “mummy blogger” because I feel super blessed to be a mum!

Yay!  It looks like I did accomplish the majority of my goals for 2014!

Instead of making goals for 2015, I’ve decided to try a daily motto which is – Smile more, worry less.

Did you have any goals for 2014?  How did you do?  What are your goals for this year?
