When we went to UK recently, one of the places we REALLY wanted to go to was London. Yes, I’ve been there multiple times and we spent a few days there for our honeymoon but we wanted to visit again because a) SHOPPING and b) FOOD (and if my London friends and family are reading this, then of course, we wanted to visit you guys too!!! *ahem*) However, we only spent a few measly hours in London and that was at Heathrow Airport where Baby Bunty vomited in spectacular fashion - attention-seeker or what?!
Speaking of London and attention-seekers, Rimmel London recently released their new Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks in 12 eye-catching colours and lucky old me got my mitts on the sexy pop-up press kit so let’s take a look together…
Packaging : Encased in sheer violet plastic covers and embossed with the Rimmel logos (Rimmel wording on side of tube and Rimmel crown on top of tube) and the shade name and numbers are printed on the bottom.
Formula : Self-explanatory with the name of these lippies but I shall the state the obvious – they are highly MOISTURISING – which is a major plus in my books.
You’re going to see 3 of the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks in action because I enlisted the help of my little Fambam (i.e. Hubby and Baby) to choose their favourites…
Hubby’s Fave : 210 Fancy Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick Swatch
Hubby says he likes #210 Fancy because it looks natural and the frosty pink makes my lips look “juicy and FANCY-able” (I see what he did there!!) I will admit that it’s not one of my faves because of the frostiness…I don’t think it suits my skin colour, but anyway, he likes it.
Baby’s Fave : 310 Back To Fuchsia
Of course my 4-month-old Baby cannot talk yet, but she knows her colours!! Her eyes were drawn to this bright pop of pink! Definitely packs a punch!
Because of the bluish undertones of #31o Back To Fuchsia, it also made my teeth appear whiter! Great choice, baby girl!
My Fave : 660 In Love With Ginger
My favourite Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick was definitely #660 In Love With Ginger. It’s a coral orange red which is right up my street.
I feel that it’s a universal shade which would suit all the skin tones! The formula of the lippy also makes my pout look nice and plump.
Seeing as I am a busy mama these days, I cannot spend as much time on my make-up as I used to so I love how I can look instantly more perky with some concealer (under the eyes) and just a swipe of lipstick!
These Rimmel lippies are already available in shops now for a steal at under $15 so hop to it
Are you a fan of Rimmel lipsticks? What do you think of the shades chosen by me and my Fambam?
