Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or Huile Prodigieuse OR?
Confusing title? Don’t worry, let me enlighten you by showing you Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse AND Huile Prodigieuse OR. Just grab the next French person you see and ask them how to pronounce these products
It’s a bit of a difficult one to wrap your tongue around especially when you’re suffering Monday-itis like moi
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse VS Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR
It’s not a battle because if it was, it would be never-ending as both products are winners!
Basically, Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is a multi-purpose highly nourishing dry oil and the OR version is the same but with LOTS OF SHIMMY SHIMMER! I tried to find out what OR stands for but have no idea, but if you do, let me know
[ EDIT : OR means "gold" - thank you Shamim, Catn2kittens and Helen!]
These award-winning French nourishing oils can be used on face, hair and body.
I like to use the normal non-shimmer Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse on my cracked cuticles, frazzled hair ends and elbows.
As for the highly shimmery Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR, I like to use it on my legs if I am wearing a short dress as the golden shimmer detracts from my stumpy fat legs and elongates them and I like to apply it on my collarbone to highlight the thinnest part of my body
Special Ingredients of Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse
There are 6 precious oils – St John’s Wort, Borage, Sweet Almond, Camellia, Hazelnut and Macadamia – plus Vitamin E.
You can see why it is so highly nourishing!
And no preservatives too
The Best Thing About Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse
Some oil-based products are notoriously…how can I put this?…oily!!! And they just sit on top of skin and takes forever and a day to absorb. But not with Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse – it is literally, a DRY oil and absorbs really quickly without leaving an oily residue. My skin feels lovely and soft afterwards with its pleasant scent (which may not suit everyone’s nasal senses).
Sorry for the extreme close-up of my hairy hand – but I wanted to show you the shimmer
(Psst, if you are looking for a body oil for a sensual body massage *wink wink*, this isn’t really suitable as you need an oil that is wet and slippery with that extra lubrication. I recommend this instead. You’re welcome
)
Beauty Brief
Fed up of oils that take forever to sink into skin, then you should try Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. Or if you are looking for that extra shimmer, try the OR version.
Comes in 50ml and 100ml bottles with prices currently ranging from $28.90 to $39.95 at feelunique.com and Adorebeauty.com.au, respectively.
Disclosure : Both Nuxe products were from two different goody bags after attending two different beauty blogging events. Lucky me! I decided to blog about them because sharing is caring. Now if only there was a magic beauty product which could cure Monday-itis!!!
