Recent Additions to My Never-Ending Stash
I’ve been getting a number of Facebook messages from lovely readers who say they miss my haul posts. { Like me on Facebook please } I haven’t had made any MAJOR purchases lately – only tidbits here and there. But let’s have a look at the recent additions to my never-ending stash…
1. Cute flats from Target : I love love LOVE the Chanel-esque black pumps!!! I have been wearing them non-stop!! So so so comfy and I am tempted to go back and buy more for back-ups. The white flowery ones are not as comfy but they will look great when Summer rolls around soon and I bring out my Summer clothes.
2. Beauty bargain bin haul from Target : I am not a make-up snob and I will shop for cheapy stuff in bargain bins! The b collection by bloom dual-ended foundation brush plus primer AND Boots No7 lipstick altogether cost me $7! BARGAIN! Although, the lippy smells a bit dodgy…!
3. Make-up swap : I was involved in a mini make-up swap with the lovely Ling, Vita and Norlin over dumplings a few weeks ago and got me some goodies.
4. Rachel K CC Cream : First there was BB Cream and now there is CC Cream! What is CC Cream? It is Colour Control Cream and a more refined version of BB Cream. I have been using it for the last few days and a review should be coming soon!!! (This was a lovely gift from my girl-friend G – thanks!)
5. Canon 50mm Lens : This is an AWESOME gift from my friends G & Mr S. Apparently it is fantastic for portrait shots so maybe you’ll be seeing more of my ugly mug! *winks*
6. Missha mini haul : I had lunch with a bunch of bloggers today and we went shopping in Missha and basically, we all HAD to buy something in Missha. I love Missha!!! So I picked up Missha Perfect Brush Cleaner (uh, yes, I need to clean my make-up brushes and stop using my fingers!) and also, Missha Beautiful Tint in Moisture Red to try and lure me back into lip beauty blogging at Lip Stalker…and the SA chucked in some mini samples. Yay!
7. Care packages : One of the perks of being a beauty blogger is being sent amazing care packages without me asking! And before you say anything, no, it’s not bragging because I take my role as a beauty blogger seriously and spend 90% of my free time working on my blog (just ask my neglected Husband), so there! If you are a newbie beauty blogger and want to know how to establish a SOLID relationship with PR’s, join in for the #bbloggersoz Twitter chat tonight at 8-9pm AEST (in roughly 1.5 hours time!). i found some ltd ed Australis lipsticks that way!
Am I doing a disservice to myself by not Setting up a PO box and displaying it on my blog? Do brands prefer to send unsolicited samples rather than contacting you first? Just wondering because I never get sent samples, simply because my address is not on my blog anywhere xo

As for PO Box display – I don’t display my address on my blog either. But make sure you have an obvious “Contact Me” or email address displayed on blog. And I didn’t get care packages until after 2 solid years of beauty blogging – and for me, it’s not about the samples or so-called ‘freebies’ – I love blogging and that is enough to keep my passion burning

Ask because I see so many bloggers (some newer than mine) get unsolicited samples from brands and i am a little envious that I never do. I’m not affraid to admit that either (as much as some bloggers say you should never say it out loud)
Oh well…maybe one day lol
