It’s been a while since I have reviewed a product from my favourite Australian budget beauty brand Face Of Australia, but fear not as today is the day that I introduce you to this fabulous Pure Skin Cleansing Oil.
So if you are reading this review, you will fall into one of these categories :-
1. Not a fan of cleansing oils, then see ya later. This review will not do anything to change your mind. (But stick around if you just like to read my word vomit, hehe!)
2. If you are a fan of the super awesome Shu Uemura Cleansing Oils, but would like a cheaper (but sadly, not as awesome) alternative, then Face Of Australia Pure Skin Cleansing Oil is worth trying. Keep reading.
3. Of course, if you are a rich bitch (I’m just jealous, really), stick to Shu. I would. If I had all the monies. Sadly I don’t.
4. For the cleansing oil virgins who aren’t willing to pay the pennies for expensive cleansing oils in case their skin may breakout, go buy a bottle of FOA Pure Skin Cleansing Oil. And if you really like it, then stick to FOA and add the Shu to the top of your birthday wishlist and hope that someone generous will buy it for you.
Wow. That’s my review done. Haha, just kidding.
Face Of Australia Pure Skin Cleansing Oil is highly effective at removing makeup and I also use it to remove stubborn lip stains. It hasn’t broken me out once. It is fragrance-free which I USUALLY would have appreciated except that I am used to the lovely soothing gentle scent of the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oils so I really miss that.
But. There is always a but. I read Tine’s review on this cleansing oil and she said it stung her eyes. So what did I do? I used it around my eyes. I wanted to see if it really stung. And surprise, surprise, it stung the sh*t out of my eyes!
Heed my warning and avoid using Face Of Australia Pure Skin Cleansing Oil around your eyes. Save the oil for your face and you’ll be just fine 🙂 And I saved the best for last. The price. It is only $13.95 for 125ml. BARGAIN!!
