Natio Lash Definition Mascara

Hi Best Beauties, I’m off to Canberra today for the long Easter weekend.  I’m hoping to have lots of fun exploring this city…  I know lots of people were like “Um, Canberra?  Uh, WHY??!!”  And I say, “Why not?  We haven’t been before and I want to learn more about Australia now that I am a permanent resident here!”  🙂  Anyway, I have drafted a few quickie posts over the weekend so have fun reading them 🙂  More importantly, follow me on Twitter or Instagram to get up-to-date #CanberraGoss

Anyway, onto today’s post…

Many, many, many moons ago, I was OBSESSED with mascaras….until I realised that mascaras can only do so much for my short stubby Asian lashes!  A few months ago, Natio kindly sent me a care package and one of the goodies was Natio Lash Definition Mascara.  I’ve been using it on and off for a while now so I thought it was time to give it a review…

Natio mascara review

One thing I really like about Natio Lash Definition Mascara is the formula – it’s not thick and clumpy and gloopy.  The mascara brush helps separate my lashes really well and coats them nicely.  There is some lengthening but not much and that’s isn’t the mascara’s fault – it’s me lashes!!!  Or the lack of!!!

See for yourself…

And it isn’t that much better when I look down…

Natio Lash Definition Mascara

(For Asian short stubby and sparse lashes, we need a mascara with a thickening formula with fibre extension inserts.  Or just use falsies 😛 )

Natio Lash Definition Mascara is worth trying if you already have thick luscious lashes but need a touch of definition.  Retails at $16.95 and is available at Myer, David Jones and leading pharmacists.

If you have any mascara recommendations, please let me know in the comments.  Thanking you in advance.

Plus I would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter Weekend!!! x

Disclosure :  Thanks Natio for the mascara 🙂

Canberra is FUN!!! I love it and I get the same reaction from people! And it’s usually those that haven’t been! 🙂

The wand of the mascara looks really cool, I don’t think I’ve used anything like it before 😛 Canberra is a pretty city, albeit it eventually does get boring but I hope you enjoy your time there! And short asian lashes are the death of me! Even after curling they droop down and straighten themselves again 🙁 where is that miracle mascara…

@Karen, Actually, another gf called Ling said the same thing about the wand. Interesting!! I didn’t even think of that 😉

PS – we enjoyed Canberra…but we drove to Sydney the next day 😛

hey! canberra is a lovely place, especially because it is not so touristy and overrun!!

as far as volumising mascaras go, i keep going back to covergirl’s volumeblast range… although they make your lashes very stiff, i actually like that because that means that your curl holds longer if you use an eyelash curler beforehand!! i have very long but thin, sparse lashes and this mascara range makes my lashes look picture perfect because it adds some drama!

    have fun x

@amorettevonkitsch, I agree! Canberra was really pretty. It was rather touristy but that’s probably because I went on a busy Easter weekend. But I loved the clear blue skies in the mornings and the cooler air at night. It’s also very clean and quite peaceful and not so hectic 🙂

And ooooh, I must try CoverGirl Volumeblast…I did have another CG mascara but it smelt funny…but then again, I bought it from a bargain bin 😉
