Face Of Australia Perfect Nude Palette in Nude

Hello pretty!!!  *heart eyes*

Remember I told you about the Priceline makeup sale in a previous post?

Well, here’s one of the many purchases I hauled…

This beauty is the new limited edition Face Of Australia Perfect Nude Eyeshadow Palette in Nude.

{ There’s also another one called Naked which I hope I can get my paws on soon!! }

I found me a good bargain but even without the 40% off, it’s only $18.95!!!  I know right?!  And it’s in stock online.  Just FYI!

There are 15 shades in the palette.  Please note that the swatches are on my semi-hairy Asian yellow skin-toned arm so if you have lighter and less hairy arms, the colours will probably show up better on your skin.

The first row consists of all fairly light shades.  Great for highlighting the brow bone or the inner corners of your eyes.

The second row are your pinky toned colours.  Great for all over the eyelids.

And the third row are the darkest with bronze and browns.  Great for the outer V’s and smokey eye looks.

Some shades are matte and some have a little shimmer.  Some were more pigmented than others.  Some were buttery smooth and some were a bit chalky.

The eyeshadow palette is housed in a black sturdy plastic case with in-built mirror and it comes with a double-ended applicator with an eyeshadow sponge on one end and a brush on the other end.  { Personally, I didn’t really have much use for this but that’s because I have so many awesome makeup brushes in my stash }

Overall, I am giving the Face Of Australia Perfect Nude Palette in Nude a major thumbs up!  I love how I can do so many different eye combos with just one palette.

Face Of Australia Stay On Eye primer

I also picked up Face Of Australia’s new Stay On Eye Primer.  Again it’s cheap as chips at an RRP of $8.95.

I really like how it comes in a squeezy tube instead of a doe foot applicator eye primer – it means less contamination!

Using the FOA Stay On Primer made a difference.  First of all, it made the eyeshadow colour pop compared to no primer { see photo for evidence }.  Secondly, my eyeshadows stayed on my oily eyelids instead of migrating somewhere else.

But if you use eyeshadow primer, you gotta make sure you blend out eyeshadow really quickly before it sets and doesn’t budge till it is removed.

Super pleased with my purchases!  These will make fantastic stocking fillers or Kris Kringle gifts.  See how I snuck that in there?  There are 24 sleeps till Christmas….eeeeeeks!!!!

What have you bought recently that you love?  How’s your Christmas shopping going?

Disclosure :  I bought these products with my own monies.  And I really like them so I thought I would share them with you too.  If you buy anything via the links in this post, you will not pay any extra but I do get a small commission which goes towards funding this blog.  And for that, I thank you lots.

  1. It’s so pretty! But I already have way too much eye shadow. Would love to see some looks using this palette 🙂

  2. Lovely palette contains basic shades everything you need to create soft, and natural look. A must-have palette at a very affordable price.

  3. I like the looks of the eye shadow. I am not really a user of it though. I didn’t know that you could apply a primer to help keep your eye shadow i place. Good to know.
