Shake Up Your Make-Up with Face Of Australia Budge-Proof Gel Eyeliner
Wow wow wee wow wow! First of all, I have managed to blog 4 days in a row!! Well done me
And secondly, my favourite Australian drugstore brand, Face Of Australia, have wowed me again with their newly launched Budge-Proof Gel Eyeliners in a lovely selection of 5 wearable shades. Allow me to introduce you to them.
The Face Of Australia Budge-Proof Gel Eyeliners come in little pots of colourful wonders complete with an eyeliner brush (that you will actually use!) tucked away in the long handle of the lid.
There are currently 5 shades available :-
- Pure Purple – a vibrant peacock purple – definitely my fave shade!
- Blackest Black – which actually is not as black as Blackest Shimmer..hmmm…??
- Espresso – rich chocolate brown with bronze shimmer
- Brilliant Blue – a navy blue
- Blackest Shimmer – THE blackest black with hints of silver shimmer
Check out the swatches and admire their vibrancy
Here’s hoping they will add an Emerald shade to the range *fingers crossed*
This was taken after wearing the liner for 9 hours. Not bad at all. Minor flaking. And don’t judge my eye make-up skills please – I am learning
If you have never tried gel eyeliners before, you are seriously missing out. I first mastered the cat eye flick with this gel liner baby. As with all gel eyeliners (I have used), these just glide on SOOOO easily. But the key thing is patience – wait till it dries before blinking too much and once dried, they will not budge nor smudge.
Also, it is imperative to make sure you close the lids properly of gel eyeliners because they can dry up easily.
The Best Thing About Face Of Australia Budge-Proof Gel Eyeliners
Under $10 AUD! Fantastic price at $9.95!! (And if you’re lucky, there is a special sale of $3 off and are apparently $6.95 at the moment at Big W – but don’t quote me)

What a great price they are too. I love gel eyeliners as they last longer and don’t smudge unlike pencil liners, but the only issue is bothering to use the brush (yes I am that lazy!)

@Karen, LOL, I am lazy too…and will probably not wash those brushes because they are hidden away. What pencil liners do you like? I am looking for a new one…

@Ling,
LOL I hardly ever wash my brushes too… I’m still on the lookout for the perfect eyeliner but Australis’ 10 hour wear pencil has impressed me a lot, as well as one of Clarin’s eyeliners- they both are the only few eyeliners that don’t smudge on me (nearly every one I have tried smudge and give me panda eyes!).

@Karen, Yes, I know the panda eye syndrome all too well! Actually, Physician’s Formula is pretty good too. And thanks for the recommendations
