L’Oreal Paris recently released not 1, not 2, but THREE Nude Magique CC Creams to address different skin colour-correcting issues :-

  • Anti-Redness (the green tube)
  • Anti-Dullness (the purple tube)
  • Anti-Fatigue (the orange tube)

(For the uninitiated, read all about CC Creams here.)

I am a big fan of the Nude Magique BB range so when I was offered these products for trial, how could I say no?  Read on for my reviews, more photos and swatches…and then go shopping 😉

C for Clinique, CC Cream & Chubby Stick Intense!

Clinique Chubby Stick Intense, Clinique CC Cream

Today’s Clinique makeup porn is thanks to everyone who kindly voted me to be one of their Clinique It Girls!  🙂  I got my paws on a couple of their recent releases – Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream and Clinique Chubby Stick Intense – and thought I’d share some pretty pictures of the products and my personal thoughts with my beauty blog readers…

iSwatch : Chanel CC Cream

iSwatch is basically swatches of beauty products taken with my iPhone – see what I did there?  *winks*  The photos won’t be the best quality and there won’t be in-depth product reviews but it will just be swatches and basic product info.  Today’s iSwatch is the Chanel CC Cream which I swatched in Hong Kong – specifically, the Chanel store in Sha Tin.  What is CC cream you ask?  If you have time, read this.

In short, this is Chanel’s definition of CC Cream  – an ideal cream for day-long confidence with a lightweight, non-oily, comfortable texture which delivers complete correction and natural-looking, long-wear makeup.

Asian Beauty : Review of Rachel K Neutral CC Cream

Rachel K CC Cream, CC Cream, Korean CC Cream

I’m back from an epic weekend in Sydney and as promised from my previous post on { CC Creams }, here is my review of Rachel K Neutral CC Cream.

My Scottish Asian friend who is currently on a working holiday visa in Australia stopped off in Hong Kong before arriving here and I was only allowed to get one beauty product (as her luggage allowance was WAY overweight) and it was either Shiseido Foundation Brush or Shu Uemura Face Powder (it’s my favourite face powder!) or Chanel Pirate Lipstick or YSL Glossy Stain or Rachel K CC Cream – and I chose the last option.  I loved the first BB Cream to ever grace my face (Missha BB Cream – which I have stupidly not reviewed on the blog!!) so when I heard that CC Cream was a more refined version of BB Cream, you can see why I had HUGE expectations for Rachel K CC Cream.  And kill me now because it did NOT live up to its hype!
