My Makeup Looks For A Wedding & My Pink Baby Shower (which were both on the same day!)

makeup products, makeup porn, lots of makeup, beauty products

A couple of weeks ago, I was in a semi-state of panic as I had a wedding to attend at 11am in the suburbs followed by my baby shower high tea at 2pm in the city.  In my heavily pregnant state of 34 weeks, I could barely find anything to wear for the 2 events – and no, I was not prepared to wear the same dress to both events because it was a HOT day and I didn’t want to be Sweaty Betty at my baby shower where I would be hugging my girlfriends.  Anyway, I tried on all my dresses and settled for a green bubble dress for the wedding and a pink tight-fitting dress for the pink-themed baby shower (which you have already seen me wear here).  And my next dilemma was to make sure my make-up would look good but different for both events so here’s what I came up with using the products above…

Having Fun With Avon Make-Up

asian beauty blogger

First of all, I just want to say a BIG thank you to everyone for showering me with baby love in the last couple of posts.  The Husband and I really cannot wait to meet her!!!  Anyway, for more personal updates, you can follow my other blog, Lingspiration, and it’s back to business with beauty talk today 🙂

A couple of months ago, Avon kindly sent me a generous care package filled with beauty products galore.  I had lots of fun playing with them and here is a make-up look featuring Avon products.  Let me break it down…

May I Be Excused?

Karen Walker Bunny sunglasses

Currently suffering from MAJOR work-related stress.  Wish I could rant it out but I can’t.  Stressing only gives you wrinkles so I need to stop that ASAP!  But meanwhile, may I be excused?  Will definitely try and get my blogging mojo back soon.  Le sighs.

And if you’re wondering… I’m wearing Revlon Photoready BB Cream (love) topped with L’Oreal Paris Nude Magique BB Powder (so in love!!!) with L’Oreal Paris Nude Magique BB Blush on cheeks (ANOTHER love!) and Sisley L33 Rouge Passion Hydrating Lipstick whilst testing out the Karen Walker Bunny sunnies I won as part of being a Clinique It Girl.  I’m not sure if I like the Bunny sunglasses or not…  You can call me an ungrateful bi-atch, but look at me – the sunglasses are very Gaga-ish and enhances the fact that I have a flat Asian nozzle with no nose bridge.  Gah!!!

Anyway, please send me happy, positive vibes whilst I am in wrinkle-inducing stress mode!  Thanks!  Love y’all  xxx

P.S.  Will cheer myself up later today with a trip to Priceline who are currently doing 40% off cosmetics – woop woop!!!  AND is doing 20% off too!!  Promo code TWOUP!  You’re welcome 🙂

Look At Me! Easy 4-Step Smoky Copper Eyes with The Body Shop

The Body Shop Copper Smoky Eyes, FOTD, make-up on Asian, Asian make-up

Look At Me!??!!  Geez, what a narcissistic title!  Actually, please don’t look at my face – I was testing a new BB cream which did NOT photograph well.  BUT, check out my eye make-up!  For once, my eye make-up skills are not shockingly bad because I basically, followed the instructions at the back of The Body Shop 4-Step Smoky Eyes Palette in Smoky Copper…defined my brows with yesterday’s FOA HD Brow Kit and added false eyelashes (gotta fake it!)

I was glamming up for a Date Night with the Husband when I decided to try and recreate a seductive smoky eye – but I looked like I had bruised eyes with my first freestyle attempt.  So I decided to rummage through my make-up stash and then I came across The Body Shop 4-Step Smoky Eyes Palette in Smoky Copper – which was part of a gift bag from a blog event.  I knew it was time to crack it open and put it to the test.
