I’m kickstarting this week with another Beauty Bites post 🙂  If you recall, Beauty Bites is a new series on the blog which contain short and sweet bursts of beauty goodness.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects review, Sally Hansen Salon Effects Easter, Sally Hansen Salon Effects Checker Out

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips : Nail wraps, nail polish strips, nail stickers are everywhere these days!  It’s quick, simple and fuss-free to get fancy-looking nails.  The ones I tried are from Sally Hansen’s Easter Collection, Checker Out – the pattern is adorable!  Check out more patterns and buy Sally Hansen Salon Effects.  (Note : this was sent to me by PR.)

Current Favourite Make-Up Look :  This week, I have been rocking this metallic olive eye look – Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, Urban Decay Oil Slick and Mildew from the Ammo Palette, L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara, FOA HD Eyeliner and Revlon Cotton Candy Lip Butter

Taiwanese Beauty Magazines :  I had lunch with beauty bloggers – Tine, Val & Tina – and Tina kindly passed me some beauty magazines.  I can only read a few Chinese words but it’s the pictures of the pretty Asian girls that are amazing.

the pure - natural skincare products

“The Pure – Natural Skincare” :  I was sent a few products from this company which embrace natural and organic skincare products.  Sadly, my face loves chemicals too much…so instead of wasting this, I emptied the serum and moisturiser all over my body and my sandpaper legs soaked it up beautifully.  If you are an organic skincare lover, head on over to www.bygreenpeople.com and check out their range.

Gift from beautyheaven :  Awww, how sweet!  Got sent a lovely gift from beautyheaven because I was shortlisted as a finalist in the Australian BlogStar Awards.  I can’t wait to use the lovely smelling Palmolive shampoo!  I also got sent THREE of the same Rimmel Glam Eyes Quad Eye Shadows – so I am thinking of having a giveaway soon – would you be interested in winning this?

Meet Blog Reader Manasi :  Eeeks!  Big highlight of my week was meeting blog reader, Manasi, on Sunday.

“Ling?!”
“Um..yes?”
“Do you have a blog?”
“YES THAT’S ME!!!”

It was my “I feel like I’m famous” moment!!!  It is so amazing to meet someone who reads my blog and recognises me in IKEA, of all places!!

And thank God, I did have make-up on, LOL!

Would totally love to meet up with any Melbourne blog readers so drop me an email anytime.  I promise I don’t bite…I’m actually VERY shy and awkward! 😛  And if any of you see me lurking around in Melbourne, please stop me and say hi.  I can usually be found in Priceline, Myer and anywhere that sells amazing food.
