OPI Step Right Up! & OPI I Juggle…Men

Happy Monday!!  Apologies for another nail polish post – with my cracked cuticles, it’s obvious that I’m not turning into a nail beauty blogger anytime soon but I have been rather obsessed with painting my nails recently and ignoring every other cosmetic product under the sun (which explains why I haven’t cracked open these babies yet).  Anyway, enough rambling from me and gaze your eyes upon OPI Step Right Up! and OPI I Juggle…Men from the Femme de Cirque collection which was released in Spring 2011.

OPI Step Right Up!

OPI Step Right Up! is a semi-opaque milky pink and even after 3 coats, you can still see VNL (visible nail line).  It’s a versatile shade suitable for any occasion – love it!  I just rummaged through my nail polish collection and I reckon it’s a whiter version of OPI Bubble Bath which I adore as well.

(For eagled-eyed readers, you’ll remember that I used this shade for my newspaper nail art.)

OPI I Juggle…Men

OPI I Juggle…Men – fantastic name!  I simply adore the quirky cool names that OPI come up with!  For me, I Juggle…Men works best as a topcoat rather than on its own.  It has got pink and lilac micro-shimmer through the formula – but sadly, there’s not enough and I am left wanting more!

Do you own any OPI Nail Lacquers?  I’m slowly but surely adding more and more to my collection.  They are awesome nail polishes but I wish they weren’t so expensive at nearly $20 AUD a pop.  Oh and before I forget…Dear the OPI-shade-naming-person – I salute you!

Sally Hansen HD Hi-Definition Nail Color Digital

I received this Sally Hansen HD Hi-Definition Nail Color in Digital – which is a microshimmer hot pink – as part of a GWP many moons ago.  When I first cracked it open and swatched it, I realised I had a very similar shade – China Glaze Limbo Bimbo (which was shown here).

China Glaze Limbo Bimbo and Sally Hansen HD Hi-Definition Digital could be twins…except I think China Glaze has that extra shine factor.

Nevertheless, a girl can never have too many hot pink nail polishes so today, I’ve painted my toe nails and my fingernails in Sally Hansen HD Hi-Definition Digital.  Pretty in pink!!!

What’s on your nails today?

FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Verdigris

FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Nail Enamel Verdigris is the unique colour out of the collection.  It is a silvery green chrome colour which is subtly striking.  It was slightly streaky but not as bad as White Gold.

I haven’t decided whether I love it or hate it.  I think I would have preferred it to have a stronger green presence.

FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Bronze

One should never judge a nail polish shade before application.  I admit that I wasn’t overly excited about FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Bronze – it was the last shade I swatched out of the FOA Molten Metallics collection.  But OMG!  I was completely surprised at how pretty Bronze looked on my nails.

Bronze is a rusty reddish brownish bronze.  It’s like the youngest sister to Gold and Titanium of the Molten Metallics collection.  Like its siblings, Bronze applied easy breezy, nice and easy!

FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Gold

FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Gold is another winner from the FOA Molten Metallics collection.  It stays true to its name with a lusciously gold colour with gold microglitter which shimmers and shines.  This was one of the easiest nail polishes to apply with two coats.  I have nothing bad to say about Gold.

FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Flaming Lava

When I first laid eyes on the entire FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics collection, my eyes zoned in on Flaming Lava and I instantly fell in love.  Can you blame me?  Flaming Lava is seriously HAWT!!!

Flaming Lava is a sexy metallic apple red shade which will suit all skintones.  I seriously freakin’ love it!!!!  When I wear it, I feel like a super-sexy, confident woman.  No, seriously, I do!

It was also Plastic Diaries favourite FOA Molten Metallics shade too.  We have fantastic taste!!!

FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Amethyst

If you’re looking for an intense metallic violet nail polish, look no further and allow me to introduce you to FACE OF AUSTRALIA Molten Metallics Amethyst.  It only required one coat of Amethyst to create this purple-licious look.  I love one-coat wonders!!!

I just love how Amethyst pops when the sun hits it at the right spot!  This was definitely one of my favourites in the FOA Molten Metallics collection.
