My Opinions

Do you know what is complex about Skin Virtue Pure Line Repair Advanced Eye Renewal Complex?  The unnecessary long name!

Apart from that, I am in love with the adorable packaging.  It’s so cute.  I don’t know if they were going for ‘cute’ but I just love that it’s a dinky bottle with a pump.  So much more interesting than the other eye creams I own – squeezy tube or glass jar.

Be careful when you first use the pump and don’t do a full squirt like I did which resulted in too much cream for my eyes.  Only a gentle tiny squirt of the pump is required to retrieve sufficient product for both eyes.

I do not use eye creams every day as I find them too rich for my delicate eye area and develop milia (whiteheads) easily.  Removing them is an eye-watering painful process (I squeeze them) so I was not prepared to use Skin Virtue Pure Line Repair Advanced Eye Renewal Complex daily to see if it would produce milia around my eyes.  But I did use it every second day for 4 weeks.

This eye cream glided onto skin easily and it was non-greasy and absorbed easily.  My dark circles did not get lighter but I noticed less puffiness.  The ingredient list contains moisturising and beneficial ingredients so I am sure with time, I will notice more improvement with the skin around my eyes.

Likes Cute pump packaging, nourishing ingredients, reduced puffy eyes
Dislikes No SPF, complex name

I feel extremely blessed that I was sent a couple of products from the Skin Virtue range to test out.  I found a fantastic cream cleanser which has cemented its place in my Winter skincare routine and the eye cream has shown promising results in the relatively short amount of time I have used it.  There are more products in their range that I will be keen to purchase to test out.

Skin Virtue Pure Nourish Cleanse Super Nourishing Cream Cleanser

The bitter cold Winter nights in Melbourne combined with the ducted heating at home have been causing havoc to my skin.  I have had to change my entire skincare routine to suit these harsher times.  Oh, how I envy the rest of the world who are basking in sunshine…  Anyway, I was eyeing up which cleanser to use next when the good people at Skin Virtue sent me a couple of products from their Pure Anti-Age range to review – Skin Virtue Pure Nourish Cleanse Super Nourishing Cream Cleanser and Pure Line Repair Advanced Eye Renewal Complex (which will be reviewed at a later date).

Don’t be alarmed if you have never heard of Skin Virtue before because it is new to the Australian market but it has been around in Italy for decades as it was developed and produced there.

Ms Nina Gajic, CEO of Skin Virtue states “Our high quality standards and effectiveness have set the stage for Skin Virtue to become a trustworthy brand. I am delighted to launch the products here in Australia designed to target the modern, sophisticated women who’s skin care regime is an active part of her lifestyle.”

My Opinions

First of all, it’s not a deal-breaker but is there any need for the extra-long name?  I can barely even remember what I did yesterday let alone a super-duper-long name for this cleanser.  Look at the packaging and you will see that its FULL name is Skin Virtue The Art Of Dermatology Sydney Pure Nourish Cleanse Super Nourishing Cream Cleanser.  See what I mean?  I wish they had kept the name simple like the packaging – simple, elegant and sleek.

I have dry sensitive skin so cream cleansers are ideal for me as they are effective but gentle and do not strip my face of essential oils.  I am pleased to announce that my skin has fallen in love with Skin Virtue Pure Nourish Cleanse Super Nourishing Cream Cleanser.  I was blown away the first time I tried this product.

This is how I use it :  Wet face, squirt 2 pumps onto fingertips and apply in circular motions all around face and neck region and proceed to rinse off with a flannel soaked in warm tepid water.

My face feels soft, smooth and plump after using this Skin Virtue cream cleanser.  I couldn’t stop touching my face the first time I used it.  There are a few active ingredients in the cleanser but I am not a scientist so I have no idea which one is doing magic on my skin…or maybe they all work together in synergy to produce the plumping effect.  Whatever it is, I love it!!

Likes Simple and sleek packaging, non-scented creamy texture, instant plumping results, makes my skin feel soft and supple
Dislikes Super-duper-long name
