Tried & Tested Trio : Nude Lipsticks

nude lippies, nude lips, best nude lipsticks

2015 has been an interesting year.  I’ve started embracing new interests.

For example, I’ve stopped reading celebrity goss mags and I’ve started reading Better Homes & Gardens magazine!  And I love it!  Who am I???  My mother??

And I’ve stopped favouring bold ‘in-yer-face’ lippy colours and I have been embracing nudes!  Who am??  J-Lo??

Anywayyyyzzzz, let me introduce you to this trio of nude lipsticks I have been wearing recently…

Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Body Moisturiser, Derma E Psorzema Creme, NS-21 Skin Repair Treatment, eczema creams, best eczema cream

Did you know that this week is Eczema Awareness Week?  Yep, it’s true from 2nd to 8th September 2013.  Anyway, I have been a long-time sufferer of eczema with patches behind my knees, inner thigh, elbow, face and hands.  Sometimes I will be eczema free for months before a sudden flare-up…which is what happened to me a few months ago.  Instead of using the smelly Ego Pinetarsol Soap Free Cleansing Solution, I continued using my normal yummy-smelling Palmolive shower gel and slapped on moisturising creams targeted at eczema instead.

Tried & Tested Trio : Face Cleansers

pod liquid detox cleanser, Mary Kay Botanical Effects cleanser, Dr Lewinn's Glycolic Acid Cleanser

(Psst :  I have dry sensitive skin so I had to whisper “Please be gentle” to the cleansers before I cracked them open to use.  No, seriously, I did! :P)

Tried & Tested Trio : Bronzers

Bourjois Delice de Soleil, The Body Shop Bronzing Powder, Physicians Formula Bronze Booster

I was looking at recent photos of me and realised that my face looked flat as a pancake 🙁  Being Asian means that I have flat features like flat nose and flat boobs – but alas, NOT A FLAT STOMACH!!!  Gurrrr!!!!  Anyway, I decided to crack open a few bronzers to see if I could incorporate them into my make-up routine and learn to contour and define.
