The Best Beauty Blog Turns 2!!!
Wowee! 2 years ago, I bit the bullet and finally posted my first beauty blog post. You see, I had bought the domain http://www.thebestbeautyblog.com for over 6 months but didn’t think I could handle beauty blogging…but whaddya know? 2 years later, I’m still at it and I LOVE IT! It has been fun, fun, fun…with lots of hard work behind the scenes – it’s a hard life playing with make-up, dontcha know?! 
I know I sound like a bit overdramatic but through beauty blogging, my life has changed FOREVER! I have met the most wonderful people (other bloggers, PR’s behind the brands, readers) and I have gained new interests in life, such as lipsticks { Lip Stalker } and photography. Anyway, if you are reading this and you have been thinking about starting a beauty blog, I say DO IT! You will never know where it may take you
Whether you started reading my blog from the beginning (*cringe* my early posts were very stale and rigid and photos were atrocious) or recently, thank you so much for the love and support. Seriously, my blog is nothing without you, dear readers
Enough of the gushing and I shall leave you with 5 Fun Facts about The Best Beauty Blog :-
1. Until recently, I was EXTREMELY mortified with the fact that I named my beauty blog, The Best Beauty Blog. It sounds so wanky (my sister TOTALLY agreed) and I couldn’t even say it out loud whenever people asked me about my blog name. I considered renaming it “The BB Blog” or scrapping the whole domain and starting a new beauty blog. But then, Sarah from A Beautiful Story said that I chose a really smart name for SEO purposes and now, I am happy again.
2. I am totally biased and I LOVE all my blog posts but here are some of my favourites : How To Pop A Pimple, Cow Print Nail Art – It’s Moo Moo Time!, Every Piece Of Jewellery Tells A Story and 8 Beauty Tips For The First Date - and yes, I am aware that none of them are product reviews which can get so yawnsome to read let alone write :P
3. The top 3 most popular posts are : Review of Hitachi Hada Crie, Revlon Lip Butter Swatches and L’Oreal Paris Nude Magique BB Cream – Review & Swatch - and now you know why I have to write product reviews instead of my random favourite blog posts ;)
4. Random Google search terms which land on The Best Beauty Blog are : “the best deodorant for stinky armpits”, “quirky beauty blog”, “tryptophobia” and “awkward physiotherapist bra”
5. This is officially the 501st post on The Best Beauty Blog and there are 6099 comments at the time of writing!!! Woop woop!!
