Until last week, I was an almost 33-year-old NARS virgin!!! I know, I know…and I call myself a beauty blogger?!!! Anyway, fret no more my fellow beauty addicts because like I mentioned in my previous post, I have finally popped my NARS cherry with an amazing blush – ladies and er…ladies (men don’t wear blush, right??), I give you NARS Exhibit A. Let’s all have a moment of silence to appreciate this blushing beauty…
Of course, it would have been funnier if I had lost my NARS blush virginity to the infamous Orgasm or Deep Throat, but the sight of this amazing bright coral blush is enough to make my heart skip a beat and have multiple blush-gasms 😛
If NARS blushes were embossed with their logo, I may never have used it…because I like to hoard all things pretty…so it’s a good thing that I got to use this instead of admiring it from afar because the colour is amazing and suits my Asian skintone really well!
NARS Exhibit A is strongly pigmented as can be seen in my swatch so a light touch with the blush brush is all that is required…and don’t forget to blend, blend, blend – otherwise your cheeks will stand out like a baboon’s bright red bum!!!
I love the quality and the pigmentation of NARS Exhibit A, but I am not the biggest fan of the NARS dust-attracting black rubber packaging. Imagine if I had lots of NARS blushes…the only way to distinguish them is to look at the bottom of the packaging or…
…pop open the case to see the shade.
But let’s not worry about that right now and allow my cheeks to enjoy this beautiful blush.
I wore NARS Exhibit A on Saturday for a farewell party and everyone complimented my “pregnancy glow” – little do they know that I am faking it with a rosy blush, hehe 😛 In this photo, I am also testing out some new make-up products – Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation, Face of Australia Big Volumising Lash Mascara and Budge Proof Eyeshadow – so keep your eyes peeled for my forthcoming beauty reviews
NARS Exhibit A is my first, but definitely NOT my last NARS blush!! I can’t wait to add more into my collection. You can check out more NARS products on the Fresh Cosmetics and Fragrances website – which is where I got mine from as mentioned in my previous post.
Which NARS product should I buy next? And which product popped your NARS cherry?
